Tuning Punto HGT engine blank cover

I have a theory that I hope one or more of you can help with. The Punto HGT engine is hopefully the last generation of the 128 series of engines.

On the front of the block at the cam' end there should be an oval shaped blanking plate held in place by two short 10mm (maybe) bolts.

If this is the case could someone take the cover off and take a photo of what is inside please?

If my theory is right there could be a distributor drive flange attached to the oil pump. If this is the case I won't need all the fuel injection and electronic stuff to fit the HGT engine to my X1/9, just a dizzy and some bike carb's. :slayer:

Have alook on 'google for a sam naprawiam 'punto book in 'pdf form,.

it will be written in ...polish.. but its good for Diagram's/exploded view of engine part's etc..
