hey all, new to the forum, a freind has a punto GT (S reg)
the other day he started having a few problems, it wont idle, it will tick over with a bit of throttle, roughly. if you try and drive it, the boost seems to "spike" once or twice before settleing at 20psi, then at 4500rpm there is nothing it wont rev past that, and when decelerating it pops and bangs a lot from the exhoust. and when its cold if you try and rev it up it will back fire through the air filter a couple of times...
it has had a new cam a few months ago wich has got quite noise recently, a new turbo and he bought it when it had already been re-mapped.
any ideas and help he would be verry verry greatfull. thanks.
