how can i tell if my engine is a single point injection or multi point?

well we know as the 55bhp engine is an spi.i dont know who told you "dat" but its wrong.
when you know what to look for its fairly obvious as the MPI's have 1 injector per port over the SPI's single one.looks more like a carb'd engine.

i got a new engine cumin i wanted 2 no if my engine was spi so dat it wud fit

other engines would fit, but with hassle, any SPi 55 or 60 should be interchangable, you could have had the 1.2 and fitted straight in and hooked up the same.

Have you got the ECU etc with it as well? You probably wont need it but if you dont have a red key and make a mistake puting it in....
