My focus hasnt moved hardly for 5 months, just gonna copy and paste off ther ffoc.....

this afternoon i had the car up on the ramps and gave the underneath a good scrub.

To be fair it wasnt that bad, i try to clean it every so often, but i painted the exhaust silver and the rear beam black, as they were starting to discolour.

My neck is aching now tho lol.

Pics from car in my garage using iphone so they are crap...

Today, i went to pick up my 2.0 auto air deflector.

Went in my dads car as the front grille and bumper strips were off mine getting painted last night.

was greeted with this........

Anyway, after i put some petrol in, i went to ford and picked up my part, took it home and modified it to fit the TDci.

Looks like it should have been there all along

Went to the scrappys today.

I goy a set of mondeo mk3 vanity lights to fit under the sun visors, and a set of the silver trim of a zetec door card.

the edge door cards are so dull, so been meaning to do this for a while......

I have recently fitted submarine lighting or whatever you call it. Have wired it in so it works with the dash dimmer

Bought some Auto specialists stainless parts to dress up my engine a bit.

Only a few wee things, but i also had the intercooler pipes off and polished them up properly as the stainless stuff made it look dull.

Also got a washer bottle lid off a TDDi, as preferred the black to the yellow one that was on it.

The car has only done 200 miles since last update

went away to u pull it in inverkeithing yesterday to give the car a run.

Felt really good driving something quick again on the motorway instead of the punto.

Anyway, got a few wee bits.....

Mk3 mondeo auto dip rear mirror, which i wired in this morning

A mk3 Mondeo silver collar/ Lift up reverse thing for the gearstick

And I also got a variable wiper stalk from a mondeo saloon, so it doesnt have thr rear wash wipe function. Perfect for me as i took my back wiper off, however the variable bit doesnt work on the edge.

Also bought myself some stainless steel jubilee clips for the boost pipes to go with the rest of the shiny engine stuff......

Also got loads of relays and fuses, and some stuff fot the Punto which will be of no interest to you guys lol

small update.......

I got some metal and made simple covers for the battery box, airbox and resonator......

Also bought some ST170 fogs but I donno whether im putting them on.

well i bought a focus RS gearknob for my car and fitted it. Its lovely!
Amazing what a difference a new gearknob makes to the feel of the car.

I havent actually driven it yet with this on.

I also put in a trip computer- it doesnt work cos my car doesnt have the wiring, but i will get round to it one day.

I also gave ther car a damn good wash and i polished it as well.
Considering i only did it with a chaepy halfords buffer, ive got about 95% of scratches and swirls out using poorboys SSR.

Also had all the alloys off, cleaned the arches and calipers, and sealed the wheels with Auto Glym wheel sealant spray stuff, which smells damn good!

Its got a full ford service history with all the stamps up to date for the bodywork.
Plus its only 5 year old, shouldnt be any rust- although it is a ford lol

Well it's still under warranty for the next 7 years, so hopefully it will hold out till then
