Technical Punto City

my punto is mk1 and doesn't have a City (power) of the Mk2 or the Classic is it possible to buy the City part which it under the steering wheel and is it easy or will need any other parts ?

no such thing for the mk1. No idea if it would be possible to retrofit one into a mk1 or not.. Even if it is, doubtful that it would be easy task.

If the tyres are properly inflated (32psi all round is a good starting point) a Mk1 Punto doesn't need power steering.

Some Mk1s though, were fitted with a conventional pump type hydraulic power steering. Although I really can't see it being worthwhile, that would be a much easier retrofit. You'll also need to turn the strut top mounts through 180 degrees (to increase castor) or it'll be a really twitchy little beastie.

yep, my GT has a belt driven hydraulic PAS pump.
