Punto (Mk2/2b) Punto boot lid

hello all!
i'm a newbie here and i'm in need of some help desperately!
i have a 2004 (54) punto that needs the boot lid changing, i need to transfer the lock from my old boot and then put that boot on the car, i have a rough idea, i would just love some second opinions! any help is much appreciated.

If you check in the Punto section it'll no doubt have been covered before. I recently swapped the boot on my MK2 and the lock is just a couple of bolts then the release cable iirc! Shouldn't take long at all!

boot lid must be like for like
ie 3 door wont fit 5 door even had to explain this one to a car breaker last year
for lock
undo 2 philips screws holding inner plastic trim on and pull trim off sharpish
2 10mm headed bolts hold lock in and there might be an electrical connection for the boot light
replacement as they say

by the way its easy to change the loom too
make sure you pull the complete loom out in your car by taping the connections up so they dont drag in the frame
use the new boot loom to pull the original loom through but make sure they cant pull apart half way through
i use masking tape (fresh) then cover with black electric tape
havent failed yet (keep covering as slim as possible so it doesn't catch)
