Technical PUNTO 1.9 multi jet gearbox

I’ve had a 1.9 for a few months now and had it remapped as well as other small performance upgrades. I’m just wanting to know weather the gearbox in this diesel model is more durable and able to handle power, compared to well known petrol fiat gearboxes which seem to have a bad repuatation. I’ve read that they are a different gearbox but are they actually any better and more durable? Thanks

Depends what gearbox it is. From what I understand, the 6 speed M32 gearbox is notorious for failing.
