Hello folks.

I am the owner of a new to me 2014 Doblo (since yesterday). Bought it at a used dealership and am now dealing with a non functional Blue & Me and the odometer is flashing.

After looking through most of the internet today I understand that this problem could potentially be addressed by a proxy alignment. However, the Fiat dealership (not where i bought the doblo) here in Sweden wants 180 euro for the diagnosis plus a yet to be determined amount to attempt to solve the problem.

I have a couple questions that I would appreciate some feedback on:

1-Will there be any impact to the vehicles performance or reliability if we dont complete this repair right away? Used car dealer says odometer has always flashed and theres no impact to performace so its my problem.

2-The used car dealer where I bought the doblo is telling me that my vehicle was never equipped with Blue & Me despite having the buttons, usb port etc. The buttons related to this system on the steering wheel do not function and I am being told it came from the factory this way because its a base model...Does this sound reasonable? I called Fiat but could not get a firm answer whether of not they sold vehicles configured like this.

Thanks in advance

The dealer ie lieiing to you

Cars without blue and me do not have a USB port or the related button's nor should the odometer flash that's to say there is a fault with the car
Thanks for the response. Any idea where the B&M unit would be located?

B&me is under driver seat.
My unit stop working some years ago and odometer was then flashing.
As it was very expensive a new b&me unit I unmounted and then with alfaobd Bluetooth I made a proxy alignement and no more flashing.
I bougth a Bluetooth with 3.5mm jack and conected to aux. So much better than b&me. I have my android smartphone as a central unit with Google assintant.
