lol, you lot are way more charitable than me. My first thought when reading the article was oh ffs, that's why there are so many near misses nowadays.

Mind you the standard of driving in Aberdeen has gotten really bad lately. Just this morning a bimmer briefly lost control going round the corner at lights I was sitting in a queue for. It's not bloody surprising considering the speed he was doing and the wet weather conditions. Luckily he managed to straighten up which is just as well as my car was in line to be sideswiped if he hadn't
