put the wheel back on after some pics,
once mot'd i have another engine to go in out my old uno that was super fast, just short of a few bits i need to collect together.
found out i have boge struts while the wheel was off too,

Looking good and another interesting project! Welding that up should be a piece of cake. Was that the one off ebay? Exterior looks nice and clean.

WAHAAAAY!!! a pic whore like me keep em a comin, whats the uno power fast engine spec! noticed you have them piddly uno discs, (arn't they small) just got hold of some gt calipers, etc hopefully they'l stop me as thats the only gripe iv'e got, it just wont stop, consider uprating them as well, my mates dropping off my turbosmart valve later, we did a deal t25 almost brand new and the valve for £50, thats what friends are for eh, it'l end up costing me in the long run tho! free work on his 3oo bhp saab,
I'd get some axle stands asap. A bloke here i Norway just died when working under his car.

dont worry got some axel stands, didnt need to go under anything to weld that, just my arms length,
will still be a 1.4,
yup was on ebay, said been to a fiat garage and they told him the manifold is cracked$$$$$ just the gasket the muppets, wasnt bothered as i have a modified manifold anyway.
engine spec later as it goes in,
been to collect gasket this morning but they only got half so gotta wait for the other bit
yup welcome to come down dunc

fiat suck lol! when i used to take mine down they used to be all "man not seen one in years, do you want us to service it" etc, yeah right! lol

I paid £52 for both gaskets back in 2003!!!!
i do like posts like these, because you have one sleek silver liner' but then buy what most people percieve to be a pile of rust shaped as a box?
It does make me laugh when people ask me......."Why a uno? they are so ****ing ugly and unrealiable!?!"
But then i burn them back with "But YOU only have to look at its arse at 100mph+!!"
Then i walk away screaming: "DISCO INFERNO BURN BABY BURN"......
Ironicly enough, i end up arguing with the people who used to BRACE themselves in my old MK2 (On the floor and headlineing! lmao) racing my mates in their GTI's!!!
Fellas like you, dunc, beardy and krausey are doing me a massive favor of proving my choice for a uno!

not touched it for a while but i have removed the carpet to look at the condition of it, (alot better than expected) and removed most of the soundproofing, (was quite heavy)
also found out i have braided brake lines beneith that dirt

Efini.........I sold a highly modified uno turbo engine to a guy that races the engine in a mini metro. Shame I don;t have his number for you, as it was a acouple of years ago now! Good luck with it, thats what I call power to weight ratio!!
