Hey Everyyyyoonne :D

Got an interesting prospect of a project that may/maynot be happening at somepoint soon.

I was browsing "freecycle" the other day when I came across this....
mobscoot.JPG

After a quick look, found it only needed a new battery and it would be ready to take out to terrorise other codgers on Mob-scooters.

Im picking it up this afternoon and I was wondering if it would be a good idea about going down the lines of modifing it? Any Ideas?

As far as I know, its a 12v 4mph scooter that has a range of about 11 miles on a fresh fully charged battery.

I will get some pics up of it tomorrrow/tonight and see what can be done to it.

Was thinking along the lines of ratlook/stickerbombing/lowers with some sort of dish?

thoughts??

Much love
Tom

I know, Colin Furze is pretty awsome.
He only lives about 4 miles down the road from me and Ive seen him out in Stamford on nights out and stuff. Very dapper :p

All depeding on condition and what spec this fogiemobile is. I may even change the battery and service parts and sell it on. Ive not even see it yet.
I know it does 4mph and thats it. No faster because Im assuming the gear ratio is set to let it run that fast.

I may go down the 50cc/125cc route depending on work required and space.
A furze replica would be lovely :D

Anyone got any good ideas?

Tom

Damn Right, 2 stroke 125ccs can be scary quick, but I reckon going down the individual and show scooter look with this would be good. Maybe incorp a 2/4 stroke 50cc engine at somepoint but I think going super euro with it would be fun.

What about getting your hands on a mini moto, then you'll have all the parts neaded to convert. Should be plenty of cheap ones around since the Police made them public enemy number 1!! Good luck with it.

4mph? (n)
Definately needs something done about that..

When i was younger my Grandad 'upgraded' from his three-wheeler and gave it to me as a toy, if i remember it went up to 16 or 18 kmph - it was pretty fast for what it was.

I prefer the three-wheelers myself, when you flick the front wheel and lean to the side you can balance it sideways on two wheels, even turn. Kinda funny when an OAP stares at you as you pass them

Yeah i killed it :p

Incredibly unhappy

Went to go and collect it from the old codger last night, took the seat off and controlls, put some bits in my car like the charger and spare bits and he tells me he wants £100 for it!
FORK THAT!! :(

So Project OAP has come to a dramatic end sooner than expected :(
I will be scouring gumtree, ebay, preloved and other naff classifieds sites for another bargain but by the looks of things. Project OAP has turned into Project NOAP. :(

Sorry guyss
