hi iv had my bravo 1.2 for bout 2 an alf months it dun 54k on on a 51 plate today iv noticed a gurlgling from behind the dash. iv checked oil cap and no white stuff and dnt think theres ne water in coolant heaters are workin fine and temp looks ok bout alf way on gauge. i only here when idle or jus pullin away. oil was a little low so i topped it up but i think its ready for changin so iv booked in for a service. iv felt around in the cockpit an nothing feels damp. so to me it doesn't luk as though its the h/g because of the lack of symptons. so ne body got ne ideas. an input wud be appreciated

cheers m8 big help!!! ****tin me self jus incase it was the head gasket

williams, have you considred doing the oil change yourself instead of paying a garage a shedload of money? You can do an oil and filter change yourself for under £25

Based purely on yout txt typing, i'm gussing you are pretty young, or at least under 20? I only ask because younger folk are usually scared to tackle servicing themselves, but if you have a haynes, and get your dad to help, you'll fly through it a couple of hours, and feel so much better for doing it yourself. Dont worry about service book stamps, your car is too cheap/old now for most people to really take much notice.

i know i cud do its alot cheaper to do it all meself but im one who likes to see the stamps when i buy a car so i assume every1 else does. its not tht expensive though cos i get discount from work £90 for a major.

its not tht im scared of tackling things myself cos i do general repairs on mine and me mums car (cos shes as tight as a duck arse, and not even buy her own antifreeze).

kwikfit do oil and filter change 25 quid

might aswell go there
