Hi again, I own an 2007 1.2 Grande Punto, just a basic thing. Bought it new and so far it has been relatively free from faults.
I have fitted two sets of tyres, and one set of brake pads, and last month the silencer gave out, all at under 45000 miles which it pretty good. I pulled off the rear drums to check on the shoes and was amazed to see only about 50% worn, and this is at 48900 miles. I have always been a Rover fan and this is the first foreign car I have owned. I can't speak more highly of it.
Oh, I forgot, last summer I had to replace the o.s.r door window winder gear (due to an over enthusiastic grand child I think). The winder system is a bit of a let down in quality of built and design but so far this is the only real fault I can find so far.
