Technical Press Brake - left indicator stops flashing

Hi there,

Last couple of days I've developed a problem with my left indicator. The indicator works fine until I press the brake; then the indicator stops flashing. Release the brake, and it starts flashing again. The right indicator works fine - no problem.

Is this an electrical problem/bulb problem?

P.S. I did take out the dash many weeks ago to replace a dashboard bulb, but it's been fine - until now.

dodgy earth connection somewhere in the lighting circuits
i would check the earths at the light clusters 1st

Custard's right - almost invariably a bad earth connection in the rear cluster affected.

Yep, agree with the earth conclusion.

Fiats are renowned for it, and it's fairly easy to sort.

Earth - yes. But don't just look at the wiring: if the bulb or its holder have corrosion on the metal parts this can also cause 'odd' effects.
