Had a powerflow cat-back fitted yesterday and sounds fantastic!!!! i decided to pull off a bit quick last night from a junction and BANG...... then engine light cam on, pulled up and opened my bonnet and found the air box on top of the engine had snapped off in all 3 mounting points and pulled a connector off:mad:,

thanks and dont worry, it was due to a torn engine mounting, nothin to do with the exhaust... well apart from me wanting to drive it a bit harder lol, you got any pictures and where did u have it fitted??

Sure do and i got it fitted at select a tire lol set me back £47 some people think that's a rip off and some think that's reasonable. :)

Meh. Prefere 2 and sounds amazing and well.... Looks better aha as you said though personal preference. And tbh we wouldn't want a lot of exactaly the same cars crusing around cuz that would just be boring (y)

Yes. He's stating a fact that Powerflow have a reputation all over the net of being c**p. All well and good when brand new but won't be long until it corrodes and starts blowing due to poor materials.

Oh and they don't know how to make exhausts that actually "gain" performance either.

Well thats a little more helpful then just slating it (y)
in the future i and im other people will stay away. however im pretty sure that there wont be much gain in a 1.4 anyway ? :D

Ive had my powerflow since dec 2008 and have had not one problem, I have 3 other friends who have also had them for about the same time and have had no problems. What would you recommend for a GP then, I couldn't find many companys that made them for the GP.

Hmmm if its not anything to do with your car you don't like it do you ?

Yes you are completely right

Some garages can build the exhausts well, the majority of their franchises are crap though. I had them cut my mid box out and weld in a straight through, welding was terrible compared to the custom system i have on my car now.

The welding on myne is spot on, if it starts blowing or anything il jus take it back as it has a life time garuntee, 10/10 Silver Systems in leek (powerflow dealer) Great job, and if i wanted performance.... i wouldnt of bought a fiat lol.... simples
