General Power Steering problem on 2.0JTD (2002)

Has anyone encountered problems at low engine revs (idle) when parking. Steering is very heavy until engine is reved up a bit, is this normal on a scudo? I have checked normal things like tyre pressures & pas fliud levels any ideas?

could be pump, if someone turns the wheel an you clearly see fluid returning to the resevoir?

cant help you but i have fluid loss from above the front passenger side it seems to be just in front or above the front tyre any help lads..oh i have a marea jtd weekender 2001 by the way..

I had the same problem on my expert / scudo/ dispatch it was the pump lucky it had the problem when i brought it from the garage, it could been the steering rack as well

Cheers for help, replaced PAS pump and all is well.
