Technical power steering noise

hi guys when iam turning the steering wheel reversing at slow speed ive been getting a grinding noise i think there,s a leak at least.

When i top the fluid up it goes a way for a month or so iam trying not to spend any money on the car till the service and mot come up in january or do i have a serious problem croping up ive a fiat marea weekend 2.4jtd 130bh 110,000 miles

I would think youl need to find where its leaking from and that will tell how expensive it will be.

i have a jtd 110 sx with a leaking p/s pipe just behind the rad i've been told it can be done without getting main dealer parts but i lost the reply some how telling me how to go about it lol..

Re: powwer steering leak!!
I had a power steering leak on my bravo, the return pipe underneath had corroded and needed replacing. The pipe was going to cost somewhere in the region of £180 trade. so the garage i use cut out the old section of pipe and replaced it with 2 pieces of braided hose + 2 jubilee clips.
cost me £40 all in for the fix.

thanks guys for your replys iam having to way up the cost to keep it running i love the car but the last mot gave me a few headaches or the mot station were nit picking with 2 pages of issues and now power steering
