General Possible purchase

I am planning to go look at a 1969 500L that appears to be in very good condition from the photos. My first concern is the lack of paperwork that is available with the sale regarding any history and obvious restoration work that was done. If it runs and the body looks good regarding rust etc. should I be too concerned about the paperwork? The price seems fair and I have been doing my research. I have the Essential Buyer's Guide, it has a current APK (MOT) and is registered. Thanks!

These cars are charmingly simple mechanically, the only thing to look out for is rust, almost anywhere/everywhere but specially in the scuttle area where repairs are difficult.

I am going to give it a serious rust inspection having read many of the posts on here. So far I only have photos, but see a small spot of bubble (maybe 20mm) in the very bottom corner of the windshield which seems typical. The rest of the exterior looks clean.
