Possible option for an extra DIN?

Don't know why i havent thought of this before...

Just went for a drive in me Doblo, and notices the radio surround is seperate from the dash...

I'm pretty sure this radio surround is around the same size as the air vent on the top of the dash, if not it wouldn't take much at all to get it to fit...

Its made (and looks) pretty cheap, but i'm sure it could be sprayed or covered to look the part...

I will get a pic up when my van is back to show you what i mean...

If you could get this to fit in the bravo, the front would slope backwards, ideal for a DVD screen...

It was a while ago mate. After you posted that you had a Doblo I started to notice them on the road. Led to putting up a post FYA but I think you were on honeymoon mate.

Good idea though and think it may be worth a go for you ICE freaks.

since were on the subject. if i get a full center bit out of another car can i hook those switched up ie the fan to controlle mine. cos i seen a few dashs where i can add screen and allsorts and still have controlle of things. but i dont know about the fan swithches ect

The electrics would be the simple bit, just cut and reconnect (as the connectors are probably different)

The problem you will have is getting the new centre console to fit nicely into your Brava...

Not in the flesh mate and certainly not with all the "little touches" you have been doing while it's been off the road. Moreover, can't wait to see another HGT saved and back on the road.

You have, havent you? I would have thought your where at at least one of these meets...Trax, the Christmas meet, at the Go-cart/Pub meet near Nigel's or Newstead Abbey?

...and as for the little touches, i have moulded the screen into the dash (i removed the dash centre console while the car is in the shop), but i don't even know if it will fit until i get the car back...

Still have to somehow fit a full size PC into the car, redo all the trimming in leather, somehow fit my 14" TFT monitor in the passengers side and since yesterday i now got to fit my new Poly headlights...lol

So much to do, so little time...

But yeah, hopefully it should be ready for Trax

Wasn't at any of those meets chap.

Perhaps you should add limo tints to the list. If you do them first and keep your doors locked you can leave all the interior mods til after Trax.
