I'm experiencing poor MPG. I thought it was a sticking rear brake (now sorted) but the MPG is still poor. I also thought the fuel use was due to the auxiliary heater coming on during the winter, but now the temps are over 10 degrees that isn't kicking in.
When I got the car last summer I was getting around 49MPG on long journeys and around 42MPG around the doors.
I'm now getting 33mpg around the doors and 37mpg on long journeys.
Tyres are at the correct pressure (should be 2.4 bar according to the door sticker)
I am getting no black smoke, even if I drop a gear and hoof it. Acceleration doesn't seem overly poor, but might be slightly lacking (I'm used to driving my MX5 so the Ulysse always seems slow in comparison)
On acceleration the real time MPG calculator goes down to 10 mpg (is this normal?)
What MPG should I be expecting?
