Ok, new diaphragm finally arrived. Fitted it, making sure I didn’t damage it. And although the car is running ok again. It is still leaking from the accelerator pump. It doesn’t seem to be from the screws, it seems to be more from the middle.

any ideas anyone

Rob

Ok apart from the fact that it seems to leak slightly. It doesn’t seem to actually connect. So it can’t have been working anyway. Have I got something missing here. Or am I just being stupid because I can’t work out how it actually works.

once again any help would be appreciated

Rob

Forget my last post. I was being stupid. I had the diaphragm the wrong way round.

Rob

Yes, I had all the right parts, but not in the right order! I didn't have a chance to try it out yesterday, so it will have to wait until next weekend.
