After oil change fiat ducatto diesel 2.2 start smoking black smoke and lost power scarred too drive looks train ,today someone conect laptop and did a scan and this 2 come up p[o405egr and po404 egr i be told too clean it is there a way whit spray or better go see a garage for this too clean it out thanks

Very difficult to clean with spray, that might not be the fault either, could be something else causing that fault to pop up.

DPF shouldn’t be letting black smoke through either.

Is there soot in the exhaust at the end?

Might be a sticking flap or turbo problem too.

That usually means your DPF is cracked.

I would get someone who knows their way round a diesel to take a look, you could end up changing and cleaning stuff that’s fine.

thanks yes the black soot feels oily and some pieces out exhaust thanks anyway booking a garage i think
