General Plugging in usb

I have a 600e and under the gear selector I have found 2 sockets. 1 which accepts my usb stick and one which is too small for it.

How do I get the radio to find my usb stick ? The only sources it finds is dab or my phone

User manual is useless as usual

Hi, ok so the usb classic on the left side is a usb A, this is only a power output for charging devices.The smaller one on the right is a usbC and this is data and power.I ended up taking an external hardrive and plugging it in here.It can take any where from 5mins to 30mins for the car to recognise it but once it does it becomes available on the screen under music input, below the radio icon.The format of the disc has to be FAT32 (i have to double check), it will not recognise other formats like Mac or NTFS.goodluck.it took me a few tries to get it too work properly.

Wish it was that easy lol. Thanks for your help but unfortunately my usb stick isn't recognised by my car. Hey ho.
