Please can some one help me my turbo is making the most aweful noise its a new turbo that is in ( standard fiat stuff ) we drove it around the block and now when it goes to around full boost at 3000rpm it tsew tsew tsews all the time sorry i am stressing big time and that the only way i can describ the noise.... Any advice will be appreciate... We have checked the waste gate sensor thing that has the three pipes coming out of it.... That is on right.... Please any one help me

Sounds as though a hose is off or burst somewhere. Failing that chech the turbo itself for movement in the impeller.
Get someone to rev the car whilst you look under the Bonnet and see if there is any obvious air leak.

My car (FIAT Doblo) was making a terrible racket - a sort of hissing noise which was very load the higher the REVs.

Turned out to be a rubber pipe attached to the exhaust had melted (the pipe goes to a pressure sensor)

A cheap repair - hope yours is something easy & cheap too!

hey it turned out to be the hybrid waste gate that was not working so leka... all the pipes are okay, turbo is brand new... drive it for a few km's and i asume the onboard computer fixed it for itself.... thanks for the replies!
