I'VE JUST JOINED THIS SITE 2 DAYS AGO AFTER READING FOR MONTHS ON IT AS A VISITOR.

ISN'T THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP MY WITH MY HASSLE, OR MUST I ALSO GO THE ROUTE LIKE OTHER GUYS AND BUY A VW GOLF? (A CRAP CAR FOR STARTERS !!!)

I AM ACTUALLY ALSO IN THE PROSES OF BUYING ANOTHER UNO. A TURBO !!! WORTHWILE OR NOT ???

Welcome but for starters try turning off bold and our caps lock, it'll wind people up. You already have a thread for this so why start another?

If you were in the UK I'd say go to a scrapyard and buy another box, few people would probably bother stripping down a box for such a car in this country with a car which would be of such low value. I'm kind of guessing the Uno isn't that common in SA and not well catered for.

I don't know if the Haynes manual includes the detail you require. It is possible to download over the internet, have a search through the forum for Uno Haynes Download and you may find a working link which may include the detail you require.

You could always go down the route of buying a VW golf if you so desire. Personally I wouldn't because I find them dull. If the UT is good condition then probably worthwhile at the right price. If it's been hacked about then walk away.
