PLEASE HELP BLUE KEY DUPLICATION

Hi,

I have a Fiat Bravo HGT, I do not have the Red key and only have one blue key. I think I read on here a few months ago that some companies could duplicate the blue keys.

Is there anywhere in South Wales that I could get this done or anywhere I can post my key to?

PS How can I get a list of all the previous owners? Will the DVLA tell me? I could then try to write to every owner in the hope that the Red key is somewhere?

This is a long shot but try power games in Pontypridd, Tel: 01443 404544. Their advert says they can cut all types of transponder keys, but I think where ever you go you'll need the red/master key. No harm in asking though.

The previous owners name and address is on your log book.

And yes you can get duplicate blue keys cut. I bought my Bravo with only one blue key, so I had a spare cut for about £28 if I remember correctly.

However, the Key I had cut is only a clone of the key I had. Which means it does not have it's own code programmed to the ECU, so when I use this key my ECU just thinks it is the same original key, not a spare key which would have it's own unique code.

There is a Timpsons in Cwmbran if that helps...

Not sure if they do the keys there, never checked.

Also depends on the year of car, i have a 2000 and Timpsons couldnt do it (pre 99 i think), so had to pay Fiat £56 per key (as i only had the red key left i got charged £112 cause they have to code in 2 blue + 1 red)... hope this helps
