Finishing touch will be a sunvisor I've already templated too (curved to match the windscreen contour and rounded down to blend in at the sides). Should have enough dark left over to make this out off two or three ply of film, since I'm a tight arse and will not buy any limo just for the visor (standard screen strips dont have sufficient depth for the way I've designed mine)

You are aware that a sunstrip, in theory, shouldn't encroach on the area swept by the wipers.

I redid my sunstrip last year, used to have a REALLY annoying graduated one that was next to useless. Worst bit was getting the old one off!

Part of the reason why my intention was to use Limo tint (not that actaully it makes much difference) is cos I'm putting it on the inside! (prefer to keep my windcreen easy clean and shiny)

I did the following.
Back window, 20% transmission.
Rear sides, 30% transmission.
Front sides, 50% transmission. (quite light)
Sunstrip, 4inches deep, 50% transmission.

According to a police letter that my window tinting guy had, if i get stopped with these, they'll let me away with it, because they dont take action unless its less than 45%... In daylight, my front sides dont look to be anymore than factory tinted, so the police drive past me without a blink. Also, I do about 15-20,000 miles a year in and around my town, so they see me about, oh, 6 times a day. They could stop me anytime, and some of the younger boy racers get stopped regularly, so i reckon they've clearly ok'd my car

Tints

I'm not sure how to tint my windows.

I'm tempted to just tint the back 3 windows limo-darkness, but am worried this'll look odd?

If I limo-tint the back 3 windows and semi-tint (so they're legal-ish) the front side windows will this look okay or will it still look uneven?

I'm also tempted to be different and tint them all red, to match the car which is dark red - but i'm worried this'll look a bit tacky and Nova/Saxo-ish..?

The only thing i'm dead against is limo-tinting the front sides.

Anyone got pics of tinted Bravo's????

Thing about Limo dark or just dark (as appealing as it is to have our windows as black as possible) is that visibilty during the summer months is fine, but on a night and during the winter months, you wouldn't be able to se ****, or tell what might be tailing you!!

Full instructions are given in each roll of tint, for those of you that had mentioned you weren't sure about how it's done.
