play large WMV's on 360 via external hard drive

Just so you know. You can put your movies on a MAC formatted hard drive that supports files larger than 4 GB. It is called HSF+. Just download Macdrive for your HDD to work with Windows. Macdrive can be found easily on torrents site like IPT. Once installed, you won't even notice it is a mac-formatted.

Xbox supports FAT32 but not NTFS. FAT32 doesn't support large files like our beloved WMVs. However, in order to support iPods, M$ had to make the 360 compatible with HSF+.

You can have a 2TB HDD with a ton of your favorite WMV releases.

so you can play large file WMV's easily from an external drive

i stream my movies over but for some tihs could work

This must only be for a WMV file bigger than 4gig. Cos I have files of over 20G on my 1TB, each ep still works.

yeah its to circumvent the FAT32 limits

asi have said before i stream my files over so i dont have that issue
though you need a gigabit network to do this with HD content
