Last week i changed my head gasket...and while changing the HG i broke the plastic tube pointed by a red arrow. It is connected to the airfilter...(The photo was taken before i broke it)

I have no idea what it is and why it is there, could someone tell me what is it is? And what function it has?

(sorry for the english.im not a native speaker..)

That pipe operates a valve in the air inlet to change between hot air heated by the manifold, to cool air, unheated.

At this time of year, block the end of the hose with a spare bolt, unless you are below the equator.

I think you should change the oil and filter as your next job.

haha yes this picture was taken before the HG change...i also renewd the oil and filter :) Engine runs great now and no more coolant leaking
