Hello everyone!

I'm planning to make some light mods on my 1.75L engine. Some will say "sell it and buy a 16vt"... But NO, I won't.
The project won't be expensive as I can do everything by myself (except the soldering jobs)... Around 1400 bucks.

So guys I need some advice on a couple of things.
The main modification will be by adding 0,5bar of boost on the engine using a clutched Eaton m62 SC taken from a Benz and placed aside the a/c compressor.

So beside a piggyback ecu I'll need to add as I have the untouchable 99' Hitachi, I'll use some 550cc/min Bosch injectors I have laying around somewhere.

I'll be also adding an oil cooler with thermostat and still doubting about what kind of charged air cooler I'll be using... Maybe a barrel small air to H2O intercooler or a water injection under boost only.

So.... Here's the thing I need some help from people who have knowledge with these engines:

1) Is the 20vt oil pump is 100% exchangeable with the stock one on the 4cyl little brother 1.8.
And most important thing is if still available as a new part.

2) I want to replace both the conrods and main bearings with the trimetal ones. I've seen they're available from King Racing. Anyone has some info about them or if there are some others to suggest?

3) I've found a few gearboxes from both the 20vt and 16vt with the Ferguson in it. Any idea if the driveshaft's length is the same on the 1.8 and the turbo brothers? What kind of things do I need to do in order for a gearbox swap ?
Not intended to do a gearbox swap right now but if it's a plug and play, maybe will.

Thanks in advance
