Piston pressure - anyone had this problem

Dear all,

I have just been told that my car is knacked, but not quiet sure how badly at the minute has anyone got any suggestion

Fiat bravo 1.2 51 plate,

the second and forth pistons are running at a pressure of 40psi approx whereas the first and third are at 200psi approx. The car has no power and will cut out if left on idle. it still drives just.

the oil and water are clear, and doesn't appear to be any leaks,

anyone had this problem,

Try this, A rough test for ring leakage.Take out all the plugs and put a teaspoonfulof oil in the second and fourth cylinder. Test the preasure again to see if there is an improvement. If it stays the same then suspect the valves need lapping
