PiperX Filter

hey mate i've got one of them on my 1.8 noise wise much better than the k&n filter dont think there is a great deal of diffeence between the two in performance. you'll notice a slightly quicker pick up but the best bit is the noise you get from them

Cheers mate, jus want something nice and loud lol :) bit of a rude boi

Is it recommended to get a air hose? like i said its mainly for noise, plus it for a 1.4 and its not gna be in position of the standard airbox so has anyone used a hose and how have they done it? suspended etc

Thanks, HicksonUK

Ok cheers now got to figure out how to suspend it to it :)

Thanks

take the top off your 1.4 airbox, cut a hole in the side of the old airbox, and sit your piperx in there. you can still connect a cold air feed no problem.

You mean attach to the exisiting hose and house the filter inside the old box will it fit inside the housing and will it connect up 2 the existing hose?

Thanks HicksonUk
