Hello,

I had the same dillema for a longer time, as the holders I had were always crap.

I've asked different people on different occasions in real life and online and the one which came most frequently was the iOttie. I've bought myself the 5th edition of the Easy One Touch and it is perfect. I've been using it for more than two years now on two cars, sticks perfectly to the windshield, has several axis adjustment possible. And is very easy to attach and remove the phone from. However it works only in portrait mode (you could set it into landscape, but you'd still have a support on the bottom, top and one of the sides only, not bottom and both sides).

There are at least two versions of the holder - with and without the induction charger. The version without the charger has a magnet to which you can attach the cable to (there's a special magnetic sticker included).

I've bought the first one for the equivalent of 15 EUR, the second one for around 20, now the prices are more around 25. For the version without the charger.

My GF wanted to test its cheaper version made by Amazon, it definitely is not the same.

I’d go for a good-quality vent mount or a magnetic dashboard mount. I’ve found that the ones with a strong grip and 360-degree adjustment work best, especially in smaller cars like the 500C. Something like a Brodit or iOttie holder would be worth looking at, as they’re secure and don’t clutter the interior. A Quad Lock is also a great option if you already use their phone case system. Just make sure it keeps the screen visible without blocking your view, and you’ll have reliable navigation through Google Maps or Apple Maps.
