Phone contacts Last First

Hi all

Another question regarding the Blue&Me (v2) system synched to phone.

I synched an Android phone (OnePlus One) without problems to the system (I downloaded the latest update from Fiat so I suppose its V10?) but the contacts are ordered on the car by last name first name, although on the phone they are first name last name. Any way to change this strange behavior from Blue & Me ??

I did a test with a contact I created specifically to test this:

the contact is

A = Name prefix
B = First Name
C = Middle Name
D = Last Name
E = Name Suffix

Display of the Contact as

A = Name Prefix
D = Last Name
B = First Name
C = Middle Name
E = Name Suffix


I've asked on Fiat support line, and at this moment the car is at Fiat so they can troubleshoot the issue (I've overheard something about replacing the entire B&M system LoL, it's a software issue, but they should? know better...)

I've got this problem too with my 2014 Punto.
All the contact names are last name first name but I've just gotten used to saying them backwards when using the voice control.
Interested to see if it's actually an issue or just the way Android stores contacts?

It's not Android specific. I've tested Blackberry, Iphones, and Androids,

The problem is the way that B&M is messing the order of the Vcard fields. When the car syncs contacts it exchanges vcards.

My latest development:

Car was at the dealer waiting for a new B&M unit. They just rang me to say the problem remains. I told them that if they have swapped the air in the tires was equivalent to the B&M unit swap...
