Phone Advice and in general!

thing is everything the iphone is crap at, i dont use anyway, lol, everything i kbow for certain its excelent at, i do use :D ,

but meh... i'm fussy....... i'd give it 3 days before its either been "tweaked" or torched ;) hahaha

Ok guys, finally got my free upgrade and got a ...........Iphone 3g!

I love this phone, there is only one problem, the battery is ****!

I find that if I do anything with it, then I'm plugging it into the computer to charge it.

Gonna have to live with it now though as I took a 24 month contract, but meh!

I certainly wasnt parting with £100 notes to own one!:nutter:

It's weird, I'm not a heavy user as such, but use a good amount of wifi, texting, 3G browsing and music playing and yet I go for at least 2 days or so between charges. Seems like I'm in the minority in terms of battery life

It would be good though if Apple decided to make the handset more open. Same as every one of their products though, it's a sealed unit. New battery, head to the Apple store and get the handset sent off.

I guess the upshot is that Apple customer service is truly brilliant. Something goes wrong and they'll do their best to help you out, something o2 and others just plain don't do with their regular handsets (I'm thinking of the experiences I had with my w880i).

Anyway though, it is a great phone for sure Steve. Has it's limitations sure, but I personally love it to bits :)

my battery life was terrible when i first got it, i got about half an hour on the net or so, but its improved loads after a while and several charges, im now getting roughly 3 days before it needs charged again, and the net gets used alot on it, maybe the battery just needs run in :)

and on another note, i've found out my iphone is really well built, nothings broken, scratched or discoloured, despite lots of use, and being dropped a few times
