I have four pipes coming from my fuel filler cap, one large one and one medium one go straight into the back of the petrol cap, and there are also 2 thin (blue) ones

One goes to the front of the car, and one just seems to hang loose. Is this supposed to be like this?!?!?

I only noticed it as i was replacing the petrol tank due to a small hole. Too much like hard work, so have just fillered the hole as a temp solution :)

New Tank?

I’d get it looked at. Not sure about filling a fule tank.

I know Deaduno has a nearly new 999 IE tank up for grabs at the mo... He’s derby biased, but you are yet to update your profile lol

That’s me with the last post in whole top 5 wa hoo..

Louie Bee.

I bought a brand new tank, supposed to be for my car. Gave VIN number to Fiat and then ordered patern part based on what they told me.

When delivered, not the right one. Has 3 extra pipes coming off the top of the tank at right angles. Mine does not have the pipes to connect on to this.
Something to do with whether or not the car has an anti evaporator or not i'm now told

Hi Chris,

Which Uno do you drive / month was yours first registered? There was one or 2 mods like Clutch slave cylinder and rear shoes in 93 on 1.0 IE.

Trouble with some Fiat parts deps are you get the odd incompetent one who blag their way through - just like any other business?
