Ignoring the tastefulness argument for a moment, it might be easier getting fitted seat covers with the embroidery on them. Certainly it'll be cheaper. Any car upholstery place should be able to make them.

thanks for answering to the point :D -the topic can be closed now please.

I think a Fiat 500 with the word 'Paris' embroidered onto the seat would look very cool... and I dont see that being a problem for resale either.... especially for someone else who likes Paris :D

Its better than having 'Brian' embroidered :D

EDIT: Just make sure you're sure about your partner before embroidering their name on the passenger seat... it could end up awkward

Can I suggest that you use a tear-off 'Velcro' panel for the partners name, then it could be easily changed?;)

Why not get your partner to change their name to "500". That would save any awkward questions from any extra curricular hanky panky participants who ask whether you are married or partnered up.

I would have the name of my husband to be on my seat, will not be traded him in lol.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this as merely an exercise in pointless vanity by the sorts of people who'd sit in a McDonald feeding their beloved individual sesame seeds lovingly picked off the top of a quarter pounder bun whilst calling each other pet sames with the prefix "Mc" ie My little McNugget, my little McDumpling, my little McSomethingorother

*vomits*

If you love someone lots then open your mouth and tell them or go onto www.interflora.com and buy her some flowers, don't embroider her name into a seat because it's about as romantic as when Homer gave Marge a bowling ball with his name on it in the Simpsons episode 'Life in the fast lane'

Each to their own but I would be horrified if my husband had my name (or his) embroidered on a car seat:D Mind you knowing my dear husband, hell would freeze over first:)
