Technical performance exhaust

i want to put a performance exhaust on my 1.6 hlx bravo,but i am a little bit confused.
as the car has a cat,do i need to get a cat bypass pipe aswell as the rear box?
or can u do it with out bypassing the cat.i think i will obviously be better to bypass the cat, but wallet and missus are not very forgiving when it comes to spending money on my little baby

jst get a catback system cos other wise if you loose the cat then come MOT time your car will fail if it doesnt have a cat.catback systems are the most popular and will deff increase bhp and that all important grunt!!
