General Perception of pandas then and now?

You don't seriously do you?

Can't find the full sized Pinky pics easily, but Numptey how can you not fall for a loveable Pink Panda? A rose (coloured Panda) between 2 thorns ;)

I'm quite happy to swap you one of my roses for that left-hand thorn...!

(But not Betty.) :p

I am new to Panda ownership and had never considered buying one before. I was looking to buy a new shape model but as soon as I saw a 93 one on e bay I knew it was what I was looking for. I too am not sure how other people perceive them but I think they're cool. The thought of another Fiesta,Jazz etc. couldn't get me exited  To sum up: Giogetto Giugiaro, Italian, fun(y)
.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to respectfully decline it. (y) I have a mental ( very mental as it goes! ;) ) list of what order cars could be wrenched from me - you've picked the 2nd worst in terms of likelihood - it's around 2 to the power of 276,709 to 1 against (not falling!). :p

I'll try my luck and cope with this instead

Always did have a soft spot for those actually. Had a rather less glamorous 214sli 5 dr which I loved. Then I rolled it over a couple of times and walked away, can't be bad.

I always liked other models never even looked at this one before but it's to good to miss and £104 to insure, yes you did hear me correctly, a sporty car (0-60 in less than 8 secs) for just over 100 of your English pounds, now I know I'm old

It could be that none of them ever go over 40mph so they never have any insurance claims  Hope you've got your pipe, trilby & checked slippers ready......... ;) Well done on finding one that survived the scrappage scheme (y)

Electric cigarette, trainers and can't be asked to shave, does this count lol

My first memories of the pandas are from my Italian friends who had them as first cars, they were obviously overjoyed with the freedom car ownership brought them but the panda for them was a car to get your first year of driving in and get a year of no claims on your insurance. Then move on if they were lucky to more exotica like 16v golfs, Uno turbos or 205 gti's.
We had lots of fun in the pandas though and my memories of that is what sparked my interest in them back up a few years ago. Didn't take long before I had 3 (y) :D

Wow - that's quite tempting - do you have to be a smoker?!! (y)

No you don't, but if your not, please don't start as they don't yet know how bad they are for you. Better than smoking, but not better than not smoking.

I'm addicted to ecigs now and get more nicotine than I did with real cigarettes as you can gape (smoke) them anywhere all the time. Get more work done though lol
