Hi all,
just in the process of painting my van, had that horrible peeling effect that this model and the next model vans have?
speaking to a mate at work he said the vans have been primered at factory, and left to cure for a while, and then paint applied after , which doesn't bond to primer and causes it to flake off..
Anyway i got a bedliner kit from jawel paints, wide variety of colours, literally key it, prep it and mix the paint and roll it on,
I've been doing mine on my drive in-between shifts at work and the lovely British weather..
Yes is has a textured effect but it's ultra hard wearing, and smarten the van up,
Inc painting bumpers and trim black, I anticipate it will cost me £400 , which is pretty decent considering a respray price !
My colour is light aircraft grey, which I've kept as the van is grey on the v5, but there's virtually any colour available!
