The laquer is peeling on my rear bumper, the more I try to stop it, polish it the more it falls off, what is the best way to remedy this problem?

not really, get a price from your local smart repairer, chip away or similar
has the car been in an accident? if not you might be able to get Fiat to fix under warranty
No, no incident but third year warranty expires 26/11/2010, I'm sure they won't fix it, I'll get a quote from a local bodyshop, cheers!
Just phoned FIAT, bumpers and plastics are not covered by paint warranty, suprise, suprise!

I had peeling laquer on front bumper so i took the car to the dealer and he tried to avoid paying for it because he said it was damaged by little stones and such, and I argued with them so long. . .and on the end they replaced whole front bumper on their expense.
Well, the car is in the bodyshop, they've told me £160 if they can feather it in and complete without removing the bumber and £300 if the bumper has to come off.
Gutted, but it needs doing, grrr, should be ready Wednesday.
