Hi. Ages since I posted a thread on forum - happy days with problem free motoring until my wife took the car out today!!
Seem to have a problem with passenger side electric window. When closing it (from driver or passenger sides) the window shuts right up but within a second or two it comes down again about a 3rd of the way. Any ideas, and if it's fuse related - which damn fuse because I can't see anything in the manual!!!

Been to the car this morning and now nothing with any windows!!! Assume it's a fuse - but which one????

Had another hour messing about and have cleaned all 15a fuses in glove compartmant. Windows now working again but original issue with passenger side window still exists. It also happens when locking the car - the passenger window re-opens about a 3rd of the way!! very annoying - at the minute I can either leave the window down and let the rain in, or leave the car unlocked and risk it being stolen!!!

HELP!!

hi, I'd doubt it's a fuse as the window does go up. Someone else may correct me but don't electric windows 'retreat' if they meet an obstruction, this is designed to avoid trapping children playing with the switches? Just a thought.

Thanks for that - I had thought that might be the case - i've checked the seal and cleaned all around the window casing and it still does it. As far as I can see there are no obstructions. Still banging my head with this one!:bang::bang::bang::bang:

try cleaning all the contacts in the doors as this is how i solved the same issue with mine
