passenger side speaker sounds distorted

i have changed the left door speaker

so its def. not that .

its happens when i switch on the audio, at times it goes distorted nto all the time.

can i be the left tweeter near the windscreen>

Might be. Might not be. Attempt a process of elimination.

Disconnect the tweeter and try without. Check the physical condition of the speaker. Check the earth point as well. Look at the wiring, anything out of the ordinary? and so on.
