My T reg brava passed its MOT at the second attempt, it just needed two new tyres, both on the near side, so I took it to a tyre place to have them put on. The guy reccomended having both new tyres on the same axle so that it would handle better, but he reckoned as winter was slowly appraoching, it would be best to put both new tyres on the rear axle. Anyone know why?
 
it easier to control understeeer than when the rear end goes out. well so i find. might be a silly reason like that

just dump the clutch and you can catch understeer, what was said above is true. You should always try and replace tyres in pairs anyway...
 
as for those wheel trims.. the word 'constipated' springs to mind...
