Hi All,

I just wondered if there was a particular place that I could use to get parts for my 1996 1.9TD Ducato? In the last two days I enquired at my local Fiat diesel about a radiator fan and was told that Fiat no longer make/supply this part, next day I was told the same thing about a top and bottom hose! Do I need to get rid of it or do I keep it? It's only the fact that it's a motorhome that makes it worth anything.

20 years.. lot of markets only keep stock for 7.

Personally.. I use the ePER parts system to get the correct part number..
Then GOOGLE : EBAY to search stock..both in the UK OR EUROPE.

One word of caution though.. Ssome parts will be circz 2006... so getting on a bit for rubber products.

For non engine parts Citroen and Peogeot have better stock, unfortunately the 1.9 is different in those.

Probably largest source of parts at this stage is https://www.axel-augustin.de/

e.g. fan without cowling: https://www.axel-augustin.de/shop2/...::2041.html?XTCsid=p7v77s6eo37mi700vs7i8b7386

If you look at the denso / marelli etc. part number on the fan motor you'll probably find you can bolt one in out of all sorts of vehicles.

Hoses are on ebay, also for hard to find hoses you can get corrugated hoses now in all sorts of diameters a marine supplies place should be able to help.

Fiat parts are becoming a real headache here in Spain, our local dealer binned everything in his parts store dating before 2007 last year, there's nothing in there earlier, and they refuse to order anything earlier. No wonder people are buying far eastern vehicles! Fiat are so all-encompassing with many famous names under their belt, but the name Fiat itself is being sadly neglected by them.

You are in the hands of the clone and aftermarket suppliers for a 1996 Fiat, besides the scrappers. I have a 1993 Ducato and a 1994 Punto, so I'm worse off than you are. It's make do and mend for Fiat owners here in Spain!

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions, I understand that it's over 20 years old and here in the UK they only have to provide spares for ten years after the date that production ends but I don't mind using non Fiat parts and now I have a couple of sources to use in the future.
