hi guys

can anyone help me sort my parrot out, i have put all the wires into where they should be and had the parrot working fine, when i switched ignition off the parrot didnt go off with the ignition? i cannot seem to be able to wire a 12v ignition to my orange parrot wire without it staying on? am i right in saying that the red wire in the stereo is the live? where would i be able to hook up to a 12v ignition? any help would be much apprecaiated...

None of the wires on the stereo are ignition fed. Thats why you have to turn it on/off manually. You need to put the parrot onto a wire spliced off of the orange wire at the ignition barrel. Make sure you put a fuse inline.
