General Parking lights

Turning ignition to "parking position" (when you push that "button" and turn key left to end) and only front right parking light is on with both rear parking lights - is this allright?????? or front left park. light should work too?????

Should both work. Chances are that the bulb has blown. Check with the stalk in the sidelights position.

no no, with key ON and lights switch in first position, both park front lights are working - is there separate wiring from ign. box?????

ehm, what do you mean by dim/dip??? therere usual sporting lights, without height adjustment from inside (only "underhood" height adjust)

In the first light position the dip beam comes on, but dimmer than normal.

In the 2nd position the dip beam comes on to full brightness.

yes, in 1st pos. there's only parking light on(that small bulb inside headlight), on 2nd there's dimmed light/dip beam on-everything is working great, both lights are working on both positions

but when I switch ignition key to park. position(yes, there's one more position that youre not usualy using), there's only left park. light in front working

its not important, and mostly youre not using those lights, just want to be perfect

Are you absolutely sure its the wee bulbs that come on with ignition on side lights. Pull the plug off the headlamp bulb on the affected side and check.

On cars that light only one side they are triggered by the indicator stalk being in the on position with the ignition off. On the cento its a single switch for all parking lights.

sorry ladz, my stupidity- there was only bad connection in that small "wee" bulb socket-its working now

After 2 years of ownership i've only just clicked. This explains how the "sidelights" are soo bright and get brighter after you turn them on!!!!

ehm now I fully discovered and understand this - very strange, dip beam dimmer than normal,

and small bulbs are only for parking position then????

Dim dip was an option in legislation to height adjustment of the headlamps. As more cars got electrical height adjustment the price came down and the dim dip was discontinued.

away from parking lights, i dont want to make new thread, so it will be here,

i need to connect light into boot, it will be connected to earth pole through door push switch(used for alarm), buit there's problem where to connect positive pole???? is there positive pole somwhere near boot or i have to lead cable to fuse box in front... ????

One more thing, neon lights inside car under dash - want to make them work when door will be open(this is simple), but also when I switch on inside roof light-only way is to connect cables directly to light switch on roof??????
