Ok... can someone tell me the difference between N Panels and later cars...
Floors - I presume Ns didn't have a rear foowell
Front Wings.... I can't see too much difference other than a few holes.
Front Panels, well yes Early N's have the slots for ventelation, and the later panels don't have the horn cut out and I believe the headlamp mounts are different...

Rear wings.. other than the cut out for the light.. anything?
Bonnets?
I believe engine covers are different..

Basically I'm tryng to work out what panels have been replaced on one of my cars, it could be that most have.... I know the front panel is wrong....
The floors have rear foot wells but it's an N and it is easy to see the botch job done.... as the welding gives most away...

I don't have access to eitehr a good Later car or an early car .. just pictures.... but that's notmuch help....

If you look at the 'Van Der Laan Fiat 500 parts' web site, they have some good illustrations for the various body panels. I have dealt with this company and they were very professional--a pleasure to deal with. I am also told that their panels are a good fit, very little 'adjustment' needed.

Many thanks for the reply... but Pictures and illustrations don't provide the info...
I need to know exactly what are the panel differences, these cannot be seen in a Picture...

Eg what make the difference between a front wing for a "N" and an "L"
My N has an L Front panel, but would his mean the wings would be too so that it fits? or is it just the indicator holes?

Once I have established it it is simply a hole placement or a different curvature etc then i will get onto who make s the best when I replace what's needed..
Floors I am sure that N's didn't have the rear footwell..
