Technical Panda 4x4 2007

Can I ask how I would know if my Panda 2007 4x4 needs new springs and dampers front and rear? Road noise seems generally bumpy/noisy but I keep wondering if this is just how it's always been... 45k miles only. Thanks...

Clunks and bangs, not overly serious but I keep wondering due to the age of the items...

There shouldn't be any clunks or bangs regardless of sge

Does it sound like it from the front or back

If it's from the front

I'd start checking the rubber bushes on the front arms, when were they last changed, the originals last around 10 years 100k but some of the eBay specials only last a year or two, very common

Along with the drop links, fairly common for them not to be tightened correctly

At the rear the top rubber shock bush is a common failure point

Rubber bushes, can't recall them being done but will check service history. Are they an easy job?

Both jobs easy

I payed around £30 for a pair of arms, including the bushes and ball joints

Best to diagnose problems first though, not just throw parts at a problem
