The previous owner of our MP was a market salesman. He sold olives and things on the market. The car looked as if the transported them olives without barrels or buckets :D
The dashboard was also really sticky so I took it apart, put it into the dishwasher and painted it black. See pics

(y)nice man.
that's the next thing what i'm gonna do.:D
i bought park sensor but it's toooo cold now to put them on my mully:eek:

have you seen my (made by me) angel eyes?

That looks smart as fu.k my paint coming off and becomin sticky did you have to rub the panels down and how easy is it to remove all the bits as i will be copying what you have done asap i take it that is black spray paint ya used

Removing the bits is real easy; pull off the middle knob, than you'll see a hex-screw. Unscrew it and you can pull off the rest of it. There are 3 electric wires behind it you have to disconnect. Real easy.
As I said I put all the plastics in the dishwasher and spray painted after drying with the cheapest can-paint I could find; dul/mattl black. Cake of peace :D

that looks really good.(y).I wonder how easy would it be to remove rest of the dashboard plastics to paint them also would not mind painting the inside door handles as they seem to perish in the sun.
PIMP MY RIDE :slayer:

If ya ever find out how to get the rest of the dash off p.m me with the details as for door handles they come off with a few screws just replaced mine with some found at scrap yard

Nice. I did mine in blue to match the trim last year. That sticky stuff is a nightmare to remove though.
